Our mission is to make early childhood education accessible to all children in our Country. In pusuit of this, we have reached out to help many institutions that need assistance in setting up Montessori environment. Helping the special children of a Deaf and Blind School in our neighbourhood, providing school supplies & Montessori pedagogical material to schools in remote areas and setting up a Montessori environment in a home for orphans are a few programmes, initiated during the past few years by the school community of La Petite Fleur.

In the year 2005, we reached another significant milestone in our journey.

In Lunugamwehera, a remote village near the southern coastal town of Hambantota in Sri Lanka, we built the fully equipped Bridge-2-Peace Montessori House of Children on a two acre land, which was given by the Government of Sri Lanka. This Montessori along with the Community Centre was the brain child of Mrs Bernadine Anderson and supported unconditionally by the school community of La Petite Fleur.

Being run on donations, the Montessori and the Community Centre needs further support from the donor community to continue to provide a free service to all its beneficiaries and for its future development.
